When you are old enough,
To see Family Friends and others
Who dislike you, and treat such imposters
Just the same, if you are old enough;
To see careers, dreams and desires
Turn to dust, and laugh
About what you could have done,
Should have done; without regret.
If you can see yourself
As others see you
And not blame them, for what they cannot see.
And laugh with them and not at them;
Perhaps then you yourself are old enough
To say Yes! Whatever? Not why
Or If or But. Just Hello, Good bye
Perhaps then you are old enough. To die!
